Hubert Sprott, inventor of the Swing Dance, was Gold medallist in the Canadian Fours Championship in 1930 and 1931, and silver medallist from 1933-1936. He was later a professional at the All Year Figure Skating Club, based at the Tropical Ice Gardens in Los Angeles.
